Stewart & Heaton Clothing are developers, manufacturers and suppliers of specialty "first responder" garments for firefighters, emergency services personnel and government agencies. The brief was to create a customisable care manual for protective clothing supplied to various metropolitan and country fire services. The challenge was to present the instructional material in an accessible, interesting and easy-to-follow way which would ensure that the manuals were actually used by the firefighters to prolong the working lives of these garments and promote their safe use in the field.
