Laurie Paquin is a modern abstract artist, based in Lansdowne Ontario, who uses quilting to explore spatial relationships and graphic design. Her textile pieces—characterized by detailed construction and a keen sense of movement—draw inspiration from both built environments and the natural world. Through her work, she highlights the contrast between soft materials and hard structures, as well as the transition from permanent to fleeting forms.

She required an online showcase and gallery which can be easily updated as new work is produced. Laurie presented us with a very clear vision for the look and feel of her website, as you might expect, and we were able to implement this to her satisfaction. As the very beautiful images of her large embroidery pieces were the main focus of the website, the layout style and typography was kept minimalistic to very good effect.
