Nestled within 24 hectares of majestic karri, tingle, and jarrah forest, The Cove Chalets offers a sanctuary on the tranquil shores of Wilson Inlet. Just minutes from the heart of Denmark, Western Australia, this hidden gem invites guests to disconnect from the frantic pace of modern life and immerse themselves in the raw beauty of Western Australia’s South West. An iconic destination of many decades standing, the property serves as a breathtaking backdrop for a truly restorative escape.
The accommodation itself is a testament to sustainable artistry and craftsmanship. Each of the five self-contained chalets was hand-built by owners Illya and Susan using timber salvaged from storm damage and recycled materials from around the region. The architecture seamlessly blends glass and wood, featuring glass-fronted log fires that create a warm, honey-hued ambiance during the cooler months. From the romantic, boulder-integrated shower of The Sanctum to the spacious, family-friendly layout of the Jarrah chalet, every structure is designed to harmonize with the surrounding canopy.
The website we designed uses the architecture and scenery of the location itself to convey the serenity and beauty of the chalets and surrounds. All the photography was shot by us to order and aerial videography of the Cove on Wilson Inlet is used to striking effect on the homepage.
You can view the result (and book a holiday if the fancy takes you) here.
